Train in classical painting online
Developed for artists to receive individual classical academic art training without needing to travel to Florence. In this online program, we bring the training, critiques and guidance to you at home so you can learn at your own pace.
Throughout the course, students complete a sequence of exercises, progressing from targeted technical studies (composition, compression, underpainting, color) to more complex projects and preparatory studies for larger works.
Program Duration6 weeks full-time / 12 weeks part-time
The course lasts six weeks. For students with a busy schedule, the program can be extended to twelve weeks.

In addition to the live lesson and critique (4.5 hours per week), students are expected to dedicate a minimum of six additional hours per week to their weekly project.
The more consistent the daily engagement, the more noticeable the progress over the duration of the program. -

It supports artists in establishing or strengthening their independent practice - in a structured, focused, and personally meaningful way.

Giannina Beatrice Mellema
Is a German-Dutch painter based in Florence. After several years of training, she decided to open a space where exchange and learning played a core part. Experimentation and research in the medium of painting are a necessity.

Martha Helga Hornig
Martha is a German/Serbian painter based in Florence.
After a classical education she decided to open a studio where she now works and teaches, reflecting on her previous training and evolving her understanding of visual art.
Currently in her work she explores the aspects of human expression , integrating them in the pictorial language.
